Palladian Health HIPAA Compliance

Palladian Health has established a strong corporate culture respecting the privacy and confidentiality of private health information (PHI).  Palladian is URAC accredited in Health Utilization Management and fully HIPAA compliant as verified through multiple NCQA based client audits and is assessed by URAC to ensure HIPAA compliance upon reaccredidation. We have implemented a variety of systems and practices to assure the privacy and security of our data.

Compliance efforts are lead by our Executive Vice President Corporate Development, Legal & Regulatory Services; the Compliance, Security, and Privacy Officers; Vice President Quality & Utilization Management and Sr. VP, Chief Information Officer.

Palladian routinely audits departments for compliance and periodically bring in independent third parties to verify our findings.  Comprehensive Policies and Procedures regarding Compliance, Security and Privacy have been developed.  

To assure that our staff is knowledgeable about our systems and policies, every employee must take and successfully pass our HIPAA training program before assuming their responsibilities.  Ongoing training is provided for all staff on an annual basis. The training includes discussion of the major provisions of the law, our policies and procedures regarding privacy and security, systems implemented to assure security, and best practices regarding confidentiality of information.
