Under the direction of the Director of Customer Service and Network Management Services, the Communications Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate distribution of corporate communications and for overseeing the maintenance of all existing resources.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordination of corporate communications necessary for business operations - including research, semi-final drafting, tracking of corporate approvals and dissemination
- Ensure all existing materials are reviewed and updated as necessary. Includes the tracking of all changes and approvals.
- Assist in coordination of marketing materials or events to providers or members as necessary
- Ability to write the framework of a press release, in an approved format, given adequate information.
- General "info" writing ability (bulk writing, as the need arises)
- Knowledge of how to properly represent the Palladian Health, LLC brand
- Work closely with the IS Department to ensure that wbsite information is timely and accurate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications
- Two (2) to five (5) years of managed care or health care related experience (preferred)
- Two (2) to five (5) years of writing experience, including writing samples (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage projects and deadlines
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strict adherence to confidentiality of all matters handled
- Working knowledge of State and Federal Regulations, and National Accrediting Agency Standards
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and perform typing/keying tasks
