Palladian’s Coordinated Spine Care (CSC) Solution is an integrated approach to the management of muscular skeletal pain that is related to the spine. The CSC Solution improves the assessment and management of muscular skeletal pain from spinal disorders and promotes evidence-based decision making throughout the care cycle by delivering timely, relevant, and scientifically valid information to educate both members and providers from the onset of care.

Health Advocate

 

Under the direct supervision of the CSC Program Director, provide telephonic education to health plan members in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Placing outbound calls to health plan members according to Palladian Policies and Procedures, with appropriate logging and follow-up communication
  • Telephonic education to members and providers based on Palladian CSC recommendations
  • Communication with callers in regard to denied services, psychological and/or substance abuse issues, demonstrating good judgment and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Certification or degree in a health related field is required
  • Patient care and customer service experience, preferably in a medical office, facility, or the health insurance industry
  • Persuasive communications skills
  • Bi-lingual skills preferred, but not required.

Required skills include:

  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Experience working on a multidisciplinary team (shared responsibilities)
  • PC experience, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of health care delivery system
